How to find the URL of a Tweet

In this lesson, you’ll learn how to find the URL of a specific tweet so you can share it with someone else.

For example, when you’re part of social media sharing circles it makes it easier to get some “Twitter Love” for something you want to promote.

Beats the heck out of asking someone to weed through a gazillion tweets to find one YOU wrote.

Log in to your Twitter account

  1. Go to
  2. Log in to your Twitter account

Go to your profile page


Click View my profile page

Locate the tweet you want to share


Click the tweet you want to share

  1. Click the tweet you want to find the URL for
  2. Click Details

The individual pin displays


Copy the URL from the Address bar

  1. Right Click
  2. Select Copy
  3. Go the application or location where you want to share the URL
  4. Right Click
  5. Select Paste
